STANCE NATION CHICAGO ’10

StanceNation is a blog online that does a good job representing the Stance scene.  I had never been to one of their meets and was expecting to see some gnarley fittament for sure.  I made a trip up to Chicago in Project Gloria to one of their meets in at Fizz on the Northwest side.  Some pretty rad cars there, lots of tire stretching, and some first class wheel fittament. Chicago has quite a few high profile car clubs, a few of which showed to make an impression.  Some of the Risky Devil crew showed, as well as a lot of the Bar Society crew in their wide array of German craftsmanship.  A few guys from JDM CHicago showed as well.  One of them flossing a very clean NSX.  I even went crazy and spent $500 bucks on Junction Produce gear for the Gloria just because Fizz is a dealer for them.  All in all it was a great meet.

A good shop hosting it, good food, good people, and some cool cars.  Ran into a few guys that I haven’t seen for some time.  Met a few new people that were cool as well.  I love the car scene because of the people, but most all the cars. I’m still bumming John didn’t bring his Skyline in addition to his Fairlady Z. Good meet, I’ll attend more this season.
